Ringtone Tools

EMS (Ericsson maybe others)

Phones: Ericsson (R520, T20e, T29, T39)

Newer Ericsson phones and maybe others can load ringtones and logos through EMS (combined with iMelody).

Example:

ringtonetools yngwie_trilogy.rtttl yngwie.ems
ringtonetools hemglass.mid hemglass.ems

ringtonetools -infile text face.icon face.ems

You should now be able to take the text from yngwie.ems, cut and paste that into a web page that allows you to send a text message to your phone, and when you send it to the phone it should recognize it's a ringtone and load it. I could be wrong tho, I've never done this :) If someone could test this and tell me how it works it would be great. Future versions of Ringtone Tools will allow you to send pictures also.
