Ringtone Tools

iMelody (Sony/Ericsson, Motorola, and other newer phones)

Phones: Ericsson (R520, T20e, T29, T39)

Newer Ericsson phones, Motorola, and others can be loaded with ringtones through SMS text messages with iMelody format.

Example:

ringtonetools yngwie_trilogy.rtttl yngwie.imelody
ringtonetools hemglass.mid hemglass.imy

You should now be able to take the text from yngwie.imelody, cut and paste that into a web page that allows you to send a text message to your phone, and when you send it to the phone it should recognize it's a ringtone and load it. I could be wrong tho, I've never done this :) If someone could test this and tell me how it works it would be great. Future versions of Ringtone Tools will allow you to send pictures also.
